Evergreen Opportunities
Reading Partners
Reading is the foundation for learning and success in life. Yet, only 31% of California's 4th-graders read at grade level, and it's even worse in low-income communities. Reading Partners is looking for volunteer tutors to make a difference in the Bay Area. Give a little more than one hour per week to mentor an elementary student one-on-one for a semester or a year. Tutoring takes place Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No experience is required - you will be supported by materials and a full-time program coordinator. Want to learn more? Check out this quick video and contact matt.magill@readingpartners.org or our volunteer phone number (510) 830-3032. Sign up here to volunteer and tell them the Ballers sent you.
Stay tuned, subscribe to our email list, and follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and X for more opportunities to participate
