Ballers Bulletin: October
We know you miss Ballers Championship Baseball, but there's still a lot of opportunities for us to come together this off-season.
Ballers Fam,
We still see that championship glow on you. Don’t worry, we’re still beaming, too.
The historic 73-win season, the win-or-go-home 3 straight wins in the Championship Round in Oakland, the Rally at City Hall, the Parade, the Party at Prescott Market, you deserved all of it and we are so proud of being able to deliver.
So what’s next?
We’re in the lab maniacally devising our plan to run it back in 2026. But first, Championship Bling! Oakland Ballers season ticket holders will be the first to get these rings. Go grab your season tix now so that you can keep your favorite seat next season.
You Can Never Take A Baller Out The Bay
Free Agency is open and our championship front office is wasting no time. So far, we’ve re-signed starting pitcher Gabe Tanner, who went 11-0 counting the postseason. We also inked fan favorite Esai Santos, who came up clutch all season long. And just this week, the speedy and powerful outfielder T.J. McKenzie, who was a late-season addition, decided he wants to run it back. Assistant GM Tyler Petersen and VP of Communications and Fan Entertainment Casey Pratt broke down all the baseball moves here.
The Trophy Is Heading To The Coliseum
The Oakland Coliseum has hosted many championship teams, so it’s only fitting that the Trophy is heading there this Saturday.
The Oakland Roots have kindly offered to honor the Oakland Ballers at their last game of the season, which takes place this Saturday. Come kick it with us and our friends at the Oakland Roots this weekend, with a special tailgate starting at 5pm (more on that in a moment).
FREE Community Movie Nights
One of the best things about restoring a historic park in West Oakland, is giving it back to the community for shared joy all year round. And while our season is over, our opportunities to create new memories together will continue. Introducing Town Flicks, which is a new partnership between Cal State East Bay, Pixar Animation Studios and the Oakland Ballers.
Our first free community movie night will take place on November 1st, with a screening of Pixar’s hit film Coco. Get your popcorn ready, because we’re just getting started. Here’s the schedule:

Calling all Ballunteers
Our first Ballunteer event of the off-season will be in partnership with Eat. Learn. Play.
As part of Eat. Learn. Play.’s vision to transform the school experience for a generation of Oakland students, they have been working to ensure all Oakland elementary and middle school students have access to the resources, support, and spaces for kids to thrive and have great childhoods.
We’ll be working to help 3 different Oakland Elementary Schools from November 12th to 14th.
We only have room for 7 Ballunteers on each of these days and they are full day events. First come, first served. Sign up now.
Time To Step Up To The Plate Lil’ Ballers
We’re bringing back the Lil' Ballers Baseball Camp, designed specifically for our youngest athletes aged 4-7!
Our free camp focuses on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn and practice fundamental baseball skills. We believe in building a love for the game through positive experiences and lots of encouragement.
This is a program of 3 dates — register once for all three sessions — attendance at all three sessions is required.
Each Saturday is packed with engaging activities that cover the foundational elements of baseball. Equipment provided. Come join us.
One Program with three Saturday sessions (9am to 11am)

OSG will be holding a free tailgate at the Coliseum on Saturday. Because, as we know, all great things start with a tailgate at the Coliseum.
As you can see, the B’s aren’t resting on our championship laurels. We know everyone in the Pioneer Baseball League will be gunning for us next season and we need to keep elevating our game. And that work has already begun. But that doesn’t mean we can’t sneak in opportunities to hang out before baseball is back.
Thanks for sticking with us champs,
Your Championship Baller Family
