Oakland Ballers Come Home to Historic Raimondi Park
Feb 15, 2024
We are proud to announce our plan to activate a historic Oakland ballpark. We will play our inaugural Spring 2024 season at Raimondi Park in West Oakland—a park once touted for contributing “more baseball stars than any park in the country.” Raimondi is the home of legends like Frank Robinson and Curt Flood. It was the home of the A-26 Boilermakers who used baseball as a tool to build community and express solidarity.
Today we are also proud to unveil our $1.6M dollar plan to use private funding to upgrade the play space at Raimondi. These improvements will give the Ballers a proper home and also create a premier play space for Oakland youth baseball and softball.
We hope you can join us for some of our 48 home games this year (you can get tickets at oaklandballers.com) but if you can’t we hope you enjoy and utilize this newly activated park the other 317 nights this year. We are honored to be a part of the next chapter of baseball at Raimondi Park. We look forward to working with the City and local residents to prove what Oakland can do!
