Too $hort Night
Here's what you should know.
|
Yesterday, T.J. McKenzie went absolutely nuclear, putting on a show for the ages with a career-best three-homer, powering the team back from a five-run deficit to a 13-8 victory over Missoula. The first W feels good and we’ve got juice right now. Now let's go get the series. Tonight’s not just about the rubbermatch, it’s about celebrating one of our own. Too $hort Night is finally here, and this one is special. The first 750 fans through the gates will receive a Too $hort bobblehead and $hort himself will be signing them for fans. This is not a drill. Get to the ballpark early because these will go fast. |

Drop Zone Alert
For the hat collectors and real ones, tonight we’ll be dropping our first limited hat release of the season, The Fremont, and it’s pure Oakland. Green and gold. Town colors. Built to honor Too $hort and his Fremont High Tigers legacy. Don’t miss it.
Speaking of legends, we have another one in attendance tonight NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton will throw out the first pitch. You know he’ll bring his glove.
Jared Carbajal aka Mr. Saxindacity will perform the National Anthem. And Hillcrest Elementary will call Play Ball to get the night started right.
DJ Blackwoman will be on the ones and twos all night long, keeping Raimondi Park exactly where it belongs: locked in West Oakland energy from first pitch to final out.
Thirsty Thursdays
Every Thursday we’re doing something new to get things going: 510 Happy Hour. That means $5 beers and $10 cocktails until the first pitch. Get to the ballpark early and the deal is yours.
